Overall, the architectural engineering senior capstone project was a great experience. The independence provided by the design of the project allowed me to make it my own while learning more about topics that I wanted to. The progression of the project was effective since it required extensive research on the building itself before new designs could be implemented. This initial research was vital later on in the process and would have held back the design process if it had to be done during the Schematic Design phase.

This thesis project was a good way to use the skills learned and developed throughout my years in the AE program, and at past internships. It also helped me develop some of those skills further for future use at my full time employment. Some of the specific areas that this project helped me develop myself include presentation organization, graphic development, time management, writing, and lighting and electrical system design.

The Capstone Project Electronic Portfolio (this website) was a great resource to help organize my project products. It also allowed me to conveniently share all of my work with family members, potential employers, past employers, friends, and more. Ongoing development of the site has created a great final product with a plethora of information for others to view.
